Alliance Building Services, a full-service building maintenance company, is seeking multiple Janitorial Supervisors for our Seattle and Bellevue locations. We are committed to delivering exceptional maintenance experiences for our customers and facility users. As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will oversee all janitorial staff assigned to your facilities, ensuring daily tasks are completed to high standards. This role requires a candidate with a solid work history, commercial cleaning experience, and the ability to adapt to daily challenges. The ideal candidate can work with minimal supervision and demonstrate proficiency in janitorial machinery and procedures. Janitorial Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Train, develop, and supervise janitorial staff. 
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees and clients.
  • Perform formal cleaning inspections and enforce company and client policies and procedures.
  • Provide corrective guidance and retraining to employees when necessary.
  • Report safety and security issues promptly.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively and professionally.
  • Manage supplies and equipment inventory, including ordering as needed.
  • Enforce OSHA and other health and safety regulations.
  • Perform janitorial tasks when required.
  • Submit nightly reports to management.
  • Assign, supervise, and review the work of assigned janitorial staff, training staff in work procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Janitorial Supervisor Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of janitorial/cleaning experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing crews
  • Proficiency in email communication and report submission.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable using a backpack vacuum for extended periods.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
