MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE

Job description

FT - $18-20/hour + Benefits

StorageVault Canada Inc is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Janitorial Associate to join our maintenance team.

As a team member with the largest Canadian owned self-storage operator with stores nationally you will be responsible to support the upkeep of our properties to ensure an exceptional impression of our stores to our clients by cleaning and sanitizing buildings including hallways, floors, common areas as well as maintaining exterior curb appeal. The ideal candidate is an energetic and highly motivated individual who is detail oriented, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Performing daily cleaning and upkeep of the properties.
  •  Front line support for property-related tasks as directed.

Requirements:

  • Previous Janitorial/light maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • Experience with basic repairs and hand tools would be an asset.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Valid driver’s license and daily access and use of a reliable vehicle.
  • Travel between locations may be required.
