What do janitors do?

Janitors perform a number of cleaning duties at residential buildings, hospitals, schools, and other buildings for companies. Specific responsibilities may vary, depending on the type of business and size of the building. But their general janitorial duties include emptying trash cans, mopping and sweeping the floors, ensuring that the bathrooms are clean and paper products are replenished, and washing the windows.
