Position: Janitorial Crew Lead


Status: Full Time


Hours: 40 Hours per week


Days: Monday โ€“ Friday

We manage more than two hundred commercial properties and eighty-five residential complexes throughout the state, with over 15 million square feet of real estate under our care and thousands of tenants and owners served.


Position Summary:

The Janitorial Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing daily janitorial operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and team performance. This position plays a key leadership role by guiding team members, maintaining quality control, and supporting operational needs across multiple accounts.


Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and supervise janitorial staff to ensure consistent high performance and service quality.

Provide hands-on coaching, training, and guidance to both new and tenured employees.

Conduct regular walk-through inspections of accounts and units to maintain compliance with company standards and client expectations.

Proactively identify and address operational challenges using strong problem-solving skills.

Demonstrate adaptability by covering accounts and assisting with tasks as needed to support the team.

Monitor and review timekeeping records for accuracy and compliance.

Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness and availability.

Take ownership of assigned locations and responsibilities, delivering high-quality service.

Conduct staff performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for ongoing development.

Support and collaborate with management and Crew Leads to meet organizational goals.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients, demonstrating professionalism and accountability.


Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Valid driverโ€™s license (required)

2+ years of general custodial experience (required)

Reliable vehicle for work (reimbursement for milage)

Previous supervisory or team lead experience in janitorial or facility services preferred.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Flexible and dependable with a strong work ethic


Technical Requirements:

Ability to use a computer, tablet & smartphone.

Ability to text & use email.

Experience with timekeeping systems and performance management is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Ability to bend over multiple times.

Ability to crouch.

Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.

Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively

Ability to drive at night.


Background Check Requirements:

Must pass a criminal background check.

Must have a clean driving record.
