Job description

Worldwide Oilfield Machine (WOM) is a globally recognized, multinational company that was established in 1980 with its headquarters based in Houston, Texas. With over 2,500 employees, the WOM group of companies is strategically located worldwide with manufacturing facilities, engineering centers, sales offices and assembly/testing workshops in Houston, Texas; Pune, India; Aberdeen, Scotland; Dubai, UAE; Seoul, South Korea; Jakarta, Indonesia; Ashgabat, Turkmenistan; and Singapore.


We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Houston area locations. This individual will play a key role in coordinating office procedures, facility services, and light maintenance activities to ensure a productive, efficient, safe, and well-maintained work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, enjoy working with a variety of people and tasks, and be comfortable managing a broad range of administrative, clerical, and facilities-related responsibilities. Proficiency with computer applications, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and a proactive customer service mindset are essential for success in this role.



Essential Responsibilities:

  • Light general maintenance support
  • Coordination of maintenance-related vendors
  • Vehicle registration management
  • Uniform administration
  • Manage supplies, maintenance, and cleaning crew for all restrooms
  • Administrative support for maintenance operations
  • Maintain SharePoint-based maintenance request tracking system
  • Ensures compliance and maintaining the processes/procedures of the WOM management
  • Maintain vendor files
  • systems, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Comply with all environmental, health and safety rules
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years’ experience in facilities coordination
  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and make decisions within job scope
  • An understanding and experience of a fast-moving workplace environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong track record of customer service and effective people skills
  • Good understanding of processes, policies, and procedures required for supporting an O&G company
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task without supervision
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required.
