Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our sales team at Land Rover in Midlothian, Virginia. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the thriving auto industry. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting the sale of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles at our dealership.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Jaguar Land Rover product line
  • Greet and engage with potential customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and test drives with customers, emphasizing key features and benefits
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from customers
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to close deals, meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Handle all administrative aspects of the sale, including processing paperwork and coordinating with finance and insurance departments
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' products and pricing
  • Participate in training and development programs to continuously enhance sales and product knowledge
  • Engage in dealership events and promotions to boost sales and brand awareness

Requirements:

  • College coursework preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive sales or relevant sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with sales tracking systems
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
