We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is skilled in performing a multitude of maintenance functions in a team-oriented, world class production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.
Starting pay for this role is $26.63/hr (includes shift premium). Second shift hours are Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm, training would be on 1st shift 6am-2pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with repairing a broad range of mechanical problems, preventative maintenance, general building maintenance and custodial work.
 
  • Fabricating skills is a must, machining and fabricating parts using drawings, sketches and prints by others
  • Maintains technical knowledge, by reading machine specifications and attending classes if needed
  • Assist in the installation and removal of equipment, help determine changes needed in equipment driven by production
  • Must be able to perform preventative maintenance on wide range of equipment including Extruders, Laminators and Injection Molding Machines, as well as building maintenance
  • Helps design and build equipment and fixtures
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
  • Perform die building and repair parts using all machine shop equipment including lathes and mils
  • Basic Electrical skills required
  • Must have basic maintenance tools
  • Must be dependable and able to work flexible schedules
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferred Experience – Basic Electric Certification
