About the Role

As a Community Leasing Manager, you'll oversee leasing operations and, along with the Community Manager, lead a team to deliver exceptional resident experiences. This role is key to driving occupancy, compliance, and community engagement.

The schedule for this role will be split between two neighboring communities in Plano, TX: Jada Legacy Central (385 Units) and Opal Legacy Central (310 Units).

What You'll Do

Below is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus.

Leasing & Sales

  • Manage all aspects of the leasing process from prospect qualification to move-in.
  • Support leasing associates and ensure timely follow-up with prospects.
  • Maintain accurate leasing documentation and reports.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Drive marketing efforts including outreach and social media.
  • Shop competitive properties and recommend pricing strategies.

Leadership & Team Support

  • Assist in supervising and motivating leasing associates.
  • Provide training and ensure compliance with company standards.

Resident Relations

  • Respond to resident concerns and support retention programs.
  • Ensure community spaces meet Fairfield's standards.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
  • Minimum one year residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience.
  • Experience in leadership and supervising a staff preferred.
  • Previous LIHTC experience preferred.
  • Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Yardi or other property management accounting software.
  • Strong typing and math skills.
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.
  • Superior customer service skills, including managing difficult customers and situations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills; ability to direct a team.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and adjust daily priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Estimated Rate of Pay:
$27.90 - $31.20
This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
