GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.

Opportunity:

RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY

Job Details:

• Seasonal 13-week contract position
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend schedule with alternating weekends
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Work on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit on the 4th floor
• Day and night shifts staffed with 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse
• Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
• Operate equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• Use Meditech as the electronic medical records system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
• Must have EFM competency, SVE competency, and C-section circulation experience
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Internal monitor placement competency preferred
• Experience in a Level IV high volume unit preferred
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only - t-shirts are not acceptable

The unit maintains a 1:2 patient ratio and is equipped with advanced technology including Novii, JADA, and Fetal Pillow systems. The facility utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records and offers a supportive team environment with dedicated charge nurses on both day and night shifts.
