Job description

Job Responsibilities:
1. Support Mission-critical financial applications with sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII data)
2. Monitor production jobs and ensure their scheduled execution
3. Create Standard Operating Procedure documents
4. Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
5. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
6. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
7. Triage production issues and provide solutions as per Standard Operating Procedure documents
8. Document problem, solutions in the ticketing tools & knowledge base
9. Communicate appropriately & effectively with business, technical teams
10. Work well under pressure with a methodical approach to problem solving
11. Prioritize multiple tasks and manage/assign tasks between team members
12. Monitor application health, perform application/service restarts as per Standard Operating Procedures
13. Monitor, edit, create scheduler jobs
14. Deploy and manage applications, services on Microsoft Windows and cloud environments
Primary skills that are must have for the candidate:
1. Strong documentation, communication skills (written and verbal) and Analytical Skills
2. Prior experience with Production Support projects
3. Experience in any relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server; Writing queries, understanding DB processes
4. Motivated self-starter, able to work independently or as part of a team
5. Supporting Java/J2EE based applications involving Microservices
6. Experience with product lifecycle & deployments
7. Experience working in Agile project
8. Time management, Project management skills
