Federally Qualified Health Center is looking to hire a Family Medicine Physician to work in Brawley , CA, 2 hours from San Diego, CA

Expectations for new Provider: Family Medicine
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, outstanding clinical skills and strong desire to serve the medically underserved
  • 18-22 patient/day
  • Monday -Friday 8 hour shift. No weekends and no on call
  • We currently have two midlevel FM we also have Peds, WH, BH that work at least 1 to 2 days per week.
  • Ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, outstanding clinical skills and strong desire to serve the medically underserved patient population
  • Provides highest standard of outpatient medical care to patients. Including examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Responsibility for all his activities. Including accurate charting, good documentation of history, physical findings and assessment and treatment plans; and keeps track of all seriously ill patients this physician sees.
  • Responsible for proper case management for patients with chronic conditions.
  • Arranges timely consultations with specialists when needed by the patients.
  • Knowledge and implementation of community-based, patient-centered medical home (PCMH) process with appropriate coordination of care.
