A Food Expeditor (or Expo) is the crucial link between the kitchen and food runners, managing the flow of orders to ensure food is prepared accurately, plated properly and delivered quickly in a fast-paced environment. They inspect dishes for presentation, temperature, and correctness, communicate with cooks, call out orders, add sauces and ensure smooth service transitions.

Key Responsibilities

         Order Management: Organize and prioritize food tickets, ensuring correct order assembly.

         Quality Control: Inspect dishes for presentation, portion size, temperature, and accuracy before they leave the kitchen.
