Atwell is looking for On-Call Technicians to work in the Midwest on projects that haven't been solidified just yet.  We are building a list of candidates to have ready when the calls start rolling in.  
We will look for at least three months field experience as an archaeologist in cultural resources management professional. Although as much lead time will be provided as possible, candidates must be willing to travel on short notice
  • Preferred 
    • Based in MI or IL, followed by northern IN or northern OH
    • At least one year of archaeological field experience 
    • Completed an archaeology field school
  • General
    • Typical rates range from $25-$28 per hour based on experience
    • Fieldwork needs anticipated in spring and fall
    • Projects are primarily in upper Midwest

Qualifications

  • BA in anthropology, archaeology, or closely related field
  • Able to walk at least 8 miles per day over consecutive days
  • Willing to travel and stay in hotels for several weeks at a time
