Job description

About FINO

At The Fertility Institute of New Orleans (FINO), we are dedicated to patient education, empathy, and expertise as the foundation for successful fertility care. If you share our passion for supporting patients on their journey, we invite you to join our exceptional team.

The Role

We’re looking for a licensed RN or LPN to join our team as an IVF Coordinator, serving as the central point of contact guiding patients through IVF, FET, egg freezing, oncofertility, and PGT cycles. This is a full-time, hourly position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care at every touchpoint.

What You’ll Do

As an IVF Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of the patient experience: keeping cycles on track, keeping patients informed, and keeping the whole team in sync.

  • Coordinate and schedule IVF, FET, egg freezing, oncofertility, and PGT cycles, including all checklist requirements (labs, saline sonograms, cultures, semen analysis, uterine sounding, etc.)
  • Prepare and distribute physician-specific protocols and cycle calendars; track cycle starts, delays, and cancellations
  • Educate and counsel patients on cycle plans, medication administration, and treatment timelines; provide emotional support throughout the process
  • Manage EMR documentation, including consents, lab orders, chart review, and timely response to correspondence; maintain compliance with HIPAA and practice protocols
  • Coordinate billing clearance, medication pre-authorizations, and pre-certifications prior to cycle start; liaise with the billing team on protocol changes
  • Collaborate with physicians, embryology, and outside labs; assist with SART data collection and provide coverage for coordinator absences as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Current RN or LPN licensure (required)
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail; able to manage multiple concurrent cycles and deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; empathetic patient-facing approach
  • Preferred: prior experience in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI), IVF coordination, or Women’s Health/OB-GYN
Schedule

This is a full-time, hourly position serving two locations. Monday through Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM. One Saturday per month: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The schedule rotates between our Metairie office (3 days/week) and Mandeville office (2 days/week).

Join Us

Join a team that takes pride in the work we do and the patients we serve. We offer competitive hourly compensation, a collegial and supportive work environment, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families building their futures. If you’re a detail-oriented, compassionate clinician ready to grow in reproductive medicine, we’d love to hear from you.
