Job Description

BrightStar Care of Sterling Heights is seeking an experiencedย Registered Nurse (RN)ย to join our team as aย Clinical Nurse Manager. This leadership role oversees clinical operations, ensures high-quality patient care, and supports both skilled and non-skilled home care services.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with home care, home health, or private duty experience who is ready to step into a leadership role. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in IV therapy, PICC line care, and high-acuity patientsย

Responsibilities
  • Perform client assessments, reassessments, and develop individualized care plans
  • Supervise and support nurses and caregivers in the field
  • Ensure compliance with Michigan regulations and agency standards
  • Oversee skilled nursing services, including:
  • Medication administration
  • Wound care
  • IV therapy and PICC line. port, experience
  • Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, and referral sources
  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Assist with hiring, training, and performance management of clinical staff
  • Address client concerns and ensure high-quality care delivery
Qualifications
  • Active RN license in Michigan (required)
  • 2+ years of nursing experience (home care/home health preferred)
  • Experience with IV therapy and PICC line care strongly preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with EMR/documentation systems

  • IV infusions, PICC lines, ports, or central line care
  • Workersโ€™ compensation or auto injury cases
