We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) I IV Therapy Nurse to join our team part-time. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, delivering high-quality care, and working in a positive, patient-centered environment.

Position Summary

The RN/IV Nurse will be responsible for administering IV therapies, supporting patient care initiatives, assisting providers with clinical procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and helping ensure an exceptional patient experience.

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced outpatient wellness setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities IV Therapy & Clinical Care
  • Administer IV vitamin infusions, hydration therapies, and wellness treatments.
  • Perform venipuncture and establish peripheral IV access.
  • Monitor patients during IV treatments and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
  • Educate patients regarding IV therapies, supplements, wellness protocols, and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain IV inventory, supplies, and treatment rooms.
Patient Care & Clinical Support
  • Obtain and document vital signs, health histories, and patient updates.
  • Assist providers during office procedures and treatments.
  • Perform injections as ordered by providers.
  • Support regenerative medicine and wellness procedures as needed.
  • Ensure proper infection control and sterile technique standards.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Accurately document patient encounters and treatments within the EMR.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
  • Follow clinic policies, protocols, and nursing standards.
  • Assist with quality assurance and clinical workflow improvements.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with providers and staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude that reflects the mission of Optimal Health & Wellness.
Qualifications Required
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong venipuncture and IV insertion skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with IV therapy or infusion nursing.
  • Experience in functional medicine, integrative medicine, hormone therapy, aesthetics, or wellness care.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Experience with injections and outpatient clinical procedures.
