Registered Nurse - Hematology/Oncology (Ambulatory)
Syracuse 13210
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
Start: 05/29/2026
Shift: Day - 5x8 (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Ambulatory outpatient setting
• Floating: As needed within skillset
Unit Details:
• Hematology / Oncology Ambulatory Clinic
• Outpatient oncology and infusion setting
Requirements:
• Active New York RN License
• BLS Certification (required)
• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience (within past 2 years)
• Experience in hospitals of similar or larger size preferred
• EPIC charting experience (preferred)
Preferred:
• Recent outpatient oncology experience
• Infusion experience
• Strong communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
• Provide ambulatory nursing care to hematology/oncology patients
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment responses
• Administer oncology and infusion therapies
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments and care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care team
• Deliver high-quality patient care with minimal supervision
