RN, Registered Nurse | Clinic Float Pool
Primary Location: La Crosse, WI
Secondary Locations: Onalaska and regional clinics (travel tailored to home location whenever possible)
FTE: Full-time; 0.9 (72 hours per two weeks)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | No weekends, holidays, or on-call obligations
About the Role
As a Clinic Float Pool RN, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care across multiple ambulatory departments, including primary care and specialty care areas. Float Pool nurses are deployed to departments that need immediate staffing support to help teams maintain seamless operations and uninterrupted patient care. Expect meaningful variety, flexibility, and learning across specialties. The Clinic Float Pool is a strong group of 30 RNs and 20 MAs that values connection, support, and teamwork.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care for diverse ambulatory patient populations
  • Help ensure patients receive exceptional care through phone triage, MyChart communication, medication refills, and occasional procedures
  • Adapt to daily department assignments based on organizational needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth daily operations

What You'll Need
Required:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • RN license to practice in Wisconsin upon hire
  • RN license to practice in Minnesota and Iowa within 3 months of hire

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 6+ months of previous nursing experience
