Job description

We’re searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of health care providers! You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Compensation:

$67 - $75 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease
  • Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealants
  • Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified
  • Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues
  • Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history

Qualifications:
  • Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located
  • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required
  • Certified to perform CPR
  • Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
  • 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work
