About the Role:

The Peripheral Equipment Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of peripheral devices at the NASA center. This position involves the setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of equipment such as printers, scanners, and other auxiliary hardware to maintain optimal performance. The operator will collaborate closely with IT and production teams to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential to prevent disruptions and maintain data integrity. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless integration of peripheral technology within the organization's workflow, supporting overall productivity and service delivery. This position will require the ability to unpack, pick up, and carry packages and materials up to 40lbs.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of peripheral equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues.
  • Must be able to unpack, pick up, and carry packages and materials up to 40lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating peripheral equipment in a manufacturing or office environment.
  • Technical certification related to equipment operation or maintenance.
  • Familiarity with basic IT concepts and troubleshooting peripheral hardware.
