You will lead the strategy, administration, and evolution of our cloud and infrastructure environment. You will oversee a modern technology ecosystem centered on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and Exchange, while guiding infrastructure modernization initiatives and ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable services across the firm. You will partner closely with technology leadership, manage key vendor relationships, and lead a team responsible for supporting business-critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop cloud and infrastructure team members, fostering growth, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Own the strategy, architecture, and day-to-day operations of the firm's Microsoft Azure environment, including compute, storage, networking, and identity services. 
  • Direct the administration, security, and governance of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Exchange environments. 
  • Ensure high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery readiness, and backup strategies across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. 
  • Oversee network infrastructure operations, including Ubiquiti networking equipment, Palo Alto Prisma firewalls, Versa SD-WAN, and managed service provider relationships. 
  • Manage vendor partnerships, contracts, licensing, and technology investments related to infrastructure and cloud services. 
  • Partner with technology leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization strategies. 
  • Collaborate with security, application development, and support teams to deliver reliable and secure technology services. 
  • Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, governance policies, and access management controls. 
  • Lead cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and enterprise technology deployment projects. 
  • Monitor performance, capacity, and security metrics while proactively addressing risks and service issues.
  • Provide reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to technology leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or related technology functions. 
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience within an infrastructure or cloud operations environment. 
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security services. 
  • Experience administering Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Intune environments. 
  • Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, cybersecurity principles, firewalls, SD-WAN technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Proven project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing operational requirements and long-term strategic goals. 
  • Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) and external technology partners.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, communication skills, and discretion when handling sensitive information. 
  • Experience supporting a law firm or other professional services organization is highly desirable. 
  • Familiarity with Ubiquiti networking solutions and enterprise network management is preferred. 
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102), Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), or similar credentials are preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or experience with IT service management (ITSM) best practices is preferred.
