Job description

Description:

At Hensley Legal Group, we're in the business of helping people through some of the toughest moments of their lives. That takes a great team—and technology that actually works.

We're looking for an IT Support Specialist who can keep our people connected, productive, and (mostly) frustration-free when technology decides to misbehave.

In this entry level role, we are looking for a curious problem-solver who enjoys helping people, figuring things out, and learning new technology. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to attorneys and staff through our helpdesk system.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and other technology issues.
  • Set up, configure, deploy, maintain, and track computers, phones, printers, and other equipment.
  • Create and manage user profiles based on employees' roles and needs.
  • Help employees get comfortable with new and existing technology through one-on-one support and training materials.
  • Work with technology vendors when an issue needs to go beyond our internal team.
  • Partner with the Director of IT on technology projects, implementations, and improvements.
  • Identify recurring problems and look for ways to make our technology and processes work better.

Who You Are

You're probably the person your friends call when their Wi-Fi stops working. But more importantly, you're someone who:

  • Likes solving problems and doesn't give up when the answer isn't obvious
  • Can explain technical concepts without making people feel like they should already know them
  • Is patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoys helping others
  • Can juggle multiple requests while keeping things organized
  • Is curious and willing to learn new systems and technology
  • Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what needs to be done
  • Understands that great IT support is about helping people, not just fixing computers
Requirements:

You Bring

  • At least one year of IT operations experience preferred.
  • A working understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with good judgment.
  • Strong organization and follow-through.
  • A professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach.

Why You'll Love It Here

Your work may happen behind the scenes, but it has a big impact. When our technology works, our attorneys and staff can focus on what they do best, helping our clients.

You'll also get plenty of variety. One day you might be troubleshooting a laptop; the next, you could be helping roll out a new system or finding a better way to solve a recurring problem.

And because we're a growing organization, you'll have opportunities to keep learning, take on new challenges, and make your mark on how we use technology.

Plus, you'll get:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid parental leave
  • Pet benefits
  • A collaborative, primarily in-office work environment
  • Coworkers who take their work seriously—but don't take themselves too seriously

Think you're the person who can help keep HLG's technology running smoothly? Apply today.
