Information Technology Specialist
Des Moines, Iowa - Day1 Onsite role
We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Specialist to provide senior-level technical leadership across enterprise IT domains, including applications, infrastructure, security, platforms, and data systems. This role will lead enterprise initiatives involving system modernization, project delivery, business analysis, IT operations, security, and technology strategy while ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership across enterprise applications, infrastructure, security, platforms, and data systems.
  • Lead and mentor technical teams while ensuring adherence to IT standards and best practices.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and system improvements.
  • Gather and define business and technical requirements for enterprise applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise systems.
  • Lead modernization initiatives and implementation of emerging technologies.
  • Manage enterprise IT projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and execution.
  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for enterprise IT solutions.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, testing strategies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, procurement activities, and SLA compliance.
  • Oversee system administration, performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
  • Support enterprise security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Improve IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Capacity, and Availability Management.
  • Develop IT policies, technical documentation, training materials, and operational reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and provide enterprise-level technical consulting.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience leading enterprise IT initiatives across one or more of the following areas: Application Development Database Management Business Analysis Systems & Network Administration IT Security IT Project Management Product Management Quality Assurance Platform Administration Vendor Management.ย 
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, security, and system administration.
  • Experience with enterprise ITSM processes and service management best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple enterprise initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry certifications in enterprise technologies or IT specialty areas.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or government environments.
