Goodwill Central Coast is seeking a solutions-oriented IT Support Technician to join our Information Technology team. This position is based in Salinas, California and provides technical support throughout our tri-county operations, including regular travel to Santa Cruz County and San Luis Obispo as needed.

Position Summary
The IT Support Technician provides first-level technical support for employees across retail stores, administrative offices, warehouse operations, and donation centers. This role serves as a key point of contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, user access, and basic network connectivity issues.

Responsibilities Include
  • Provide help desk and technical support to employees across multiple locations
  • Troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding including equipment setup and account administration
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations and technology equipment
  • Maintain IT inventory and documentation
  • Support conference room and audiovisual technology
  • Coordinate repairs and vendor service requests
  • Escalate advanced technical issues when necessary

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Minimum three years of technical support or help desk experience preferred
  • Experience supporting Windows Environments and Microsoft 365
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple requests, and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Valid California driver's license and ability to travel throughout Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Luis Obispo Counties as needed
