Job Summary

TetraMem is seeking an IT Systems Administrator with 23 years of experience to support the company's internal IT infrastructure and daily operations. The ideal candidate will manage user accounts, network services, security, and endpoint devices while ensuring employees have a reliable and secure IT environment. This role will work closely with HR, Facilities, and Operations to support employee onboarding, offboarding, office expansion, and IT security initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including laptops, desktops, printers, conference room systems, Wi-Fi networks, and office technology.

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning user accounts, configuring devices, assigning system access, and ensuring timely account deactivation and asset recovery.

  • Administer identity and access management solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), directory services, and user permissions.

  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi access points, switches, VPN connectivity, and firewall security to ensure reliable and secure operations.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, collaboration tools, and endpoint management solutions.

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and security-related issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, system documentation, and standard operating procedures while ensuring compliance with company security policies.

  • Coordinate with external IT vendors, internet service providers, cloud service providers, and managed service partners to support infrastructure maintenance and system upgrades.

  • Monitor system performance, security alerts, backups, patch management, antivirus protection, and endpoint security to maintain a secure computing environment.

  • Recommend and implement continuous improvements to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation, and end-user support to enhance operational efficiency and support the company's growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • 23 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and end-user systems.

  • Experience administering Single Sign-On (SSO), Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Google Workspace, or similar identity management platforms.

  • Experience managing Wi-Fi networks, VPNs, firewalls, switches, routers, and network troubleshooting.

  • Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, endpoint management, and IT asset management.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or Kandji.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery.

  • Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 / year
