Job description

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Gherkin/ATDD frameworks
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites based on system requirements, design documents, and functional specifications
  • Conduct functional, integration, regression, and Section 508 compliance testing across CTEP-ESYS applications
  • Utilize JIRA, XRAY, and Zephyr for test management, defect tracking, and test reporting
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and version control via Bitbucket/GitHub
  • Perform database validation using SQL queries against Oracle databases
  • Participate in daily Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings
  • Provide regular testing status updates and coordinate with development and DevOps teams on defect resolution
  • Support Section 508/WCAG compliance testing using SortSite and WebKing
  • Support the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program Enterprise Systems at NCI/NIH within an Agile/Scrum team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of software testing experience, including hands-on automation development
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java
  • Experience with JIRA and a test management plugin (XRAY or Zephyr)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
  • Preferred: experience testing federal government or NIH/NCI applications
  • Preferred: knowledge of Section 508/WCAG accessibility compliance testing
  • Preferred: familiarity with Gherkin/BDD (Cucumber or SpecFlow)
  • Preferred: experience with Bitbucket, GitHub, or Confluence
  • Preferred: ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent
  • Preferred: background in clinical trials or health IT systems
