Position Introduction:
The Office of Admissions & Recruitment (OAR) makes connections and creates experiences with the next generation of Sooners by supporting domestic and international freshman, transfer, and concurrent students throughout the application and decision process. Our team operates from Norman and across the state, nation, and world, partnering with faculty, staff, parents, counselors, and communities to provide guidance and resources to prospective students. Our goal is to build a vibrant OU community by recruiting the most academically qualified students with a variety of educational, service, involvement, and community experiences. OU Health Campus Slate Admin
Essential Duties: Responsible for advising and developing relevant and sustainable technology solutions, strategies, and resources for the OU Division of Enrollment at University of Oklahoma Health Campus. Plans for future technology needs. This individual will be the lead technical admin/expert for the deployment and development of the Technolutions Slate instance recently established at the University of Oklahoma's Health Campus (Oklahoma City).
  • Responsible for managing, maintaining and optimizing the Technolutions Slate Admissions/CRM system for OU Health Campus.
  • Design and implement complex queries, workflows, rules, and portals to streamline the admission process and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless data flow between third-party platforms and Slate, as well as between Slate and the university's system of record at the Health Campus, PeopleSoft
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and support to stakeholders, aiding in the resolution of issues related to the admission workflow process.
  • Assist students with technical issues related to their application submissions, ensuring a smooth application process.
  • Compile and provide data for reports and regular dashboards, offering insights into all admissions-related numbers including yield rates, etc.; works with data and reports regularly.
  • Possess a foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS, capable of building and maintaining portals to enhance user experience and functionality
  • Build and maintain admissions applications and associated processes - application read/review forms, updates to majors/programs, duplicate management, processing workflow, data reporting (and analysis), monitoring of processing for efficiencies, and more.
  • Provides business analysis by identifying business needs and determining appropriate solutions.
  • Oversees technical support for internal and external entities as necessary.
  • Engages appropriate resources within OU IT including applications, infrastructure, services, projects, and business strategy teams to meet expectations and needs.
  • Negotiates priority for projects and service provision and advocates for technology needs, initiatives, and projects. Provides management of assets and services.
  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders such as vice-presidents, deans, directors, financial officers, and strategic faculty, staff, and students.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for IT related issues and as an escalation point to resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • Helps Admissions Operations team coordinate with assigned area for effective planning of projects, upgrades, releases, etc., and effective resolution of unplanned issues.
  • Collaborates with other Technology Strategists to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Performs related duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Project management, business analysis, conflict resolution, and other resource management skills.
  • Proven performance delivering contract-based service to customers.
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise technologies like network, storage, identity management, cloud serves, etc.
  • Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives.
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
  • Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 36 months experience in IT, Business, Customer Relationship Management, or related field.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 84 months of related experience.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
  • Valid Drivers License required to pick up and deliver equipment.

Department Preferences:
  • Preferred experience with Technolutions Slate.
