As a TANF Youth Workforce Connector, you will be responsible for building relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to connect participants to available services and to aid individuals who need further assistance.
Successful Elements
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations
  • Disseminate information about our program to community-based organizations
  • Provide individualized assessment of work, family and personal development needs and opportunities
  • Conduct eligibility determination and case management
  • Conduct intake assessments to create Individual Service Strategies (ISS) to guide customers on their path to employment
  • Provide referrals to appropriate programs, community service sites or social service agencies when needed

Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma required; associate degree or some college preferred
  • Demonstrated telephone, computer, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining flexibility to meet contract and operational needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Regional travel is required
  • Able to work fully onsite, fully virtual, or in a hybrid environment
  • Clean driving record, valid Driver's License, and reliable vehicle required
