We're looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing, collaborative HR team. This is a hands-on role supporting the full employee lifecycle in a dynamic, global organization. Based in our Rockville, Maryland office, you'll partner closely with leaders and employees while collaborating with HR colleagues across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

Will serve as a Regional HR Generalist overseeing human resources operations across multiple locations (Rockville, MD, and Washington, DC), ensuring consistent HR practices, strong employee support, and alignment with organizational goals. The role is a combination of strategic partnerships with hands-on HR execution, that requires strong communication, multisite coordination, and the ability to navigate diverse workforce needs.
Key responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance for managers and employees across multiple locations, ensuring consistent interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Travel between Rockville and DC office locations to support employee engagement and strengthen manager relationships.
  • Facilitate an engaging new hire experience by reinforcing organizational culture and values through onboarding, orientation, and ongoing employee support.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, conduct investigations and partner with leadership to drive timely and effective resolutions.
  • Coach managers on conflict resolution, performance concerns, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across assigned locations.
  • Collaborate with the North America HR team to update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Guide managers on documentation standards and the development of performance improvement plans.
  • Support managers throughout performance review cycles by monitoring goal progress and advising on corrective or developmental actions.
  • Partner with the HR shared services, benefits administrator, HR operations, and payroll manager, and talent acquisition to address employee inquiries and ensure accurate and timely information flows.
  • Maintain audit readiness by ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
  • Project management of complex HR projects, including mergers and acquisitions, organizational changes, and change management initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications
  • 8 years + of experience in Human Resource business partner roles.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support policy implementation and employee engagement.
  • Proficient with HRIS platforms (Workday and Compose preferred), and Microsoft Office.
  • Recognized as a trusted advisor, with high discretion, strong empathy, and the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus.

Base salary: The Rockville, MD expected base pay range is $75,000- $93,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.
The role is bonus incentive eligible.
