Since its founding, Birthright Israel has provided over 950,000 young Jewish adults with a transformational experience in Israel.

In a post October 7th world, our work has become even more important. The Birthright Israel Foundation ("BRIF") is dedicated to raising the funds necessary to ensure that every eligible young Jewish adult has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of a trip to Israel. Through these life-changing journeys, we strengthen Jewish identity, build community, and foster a lifelong connection to Israel and the Jewish people.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This fundraising role with the Birthright Israel Foundation (BRIF) is an opportunity to help drive a recently launched five-year $900M campaign. The AVP, Miami will be responsible for expanding the regional investor community, deepening relationships with existing investors, and significantly growing philanthropic revenue across the Miami region. This is an opportunity to join Birthright Israel Foundation and play a key role in one of the most ambitious philanthropic campaigns in the Jewish world.

As AVP, you will engage philanthropists, community leaders, and supporters. Success in this role requires strong relationship building skills, disciplined portfolio management, confidence in directly soliciting major gifts, and determination to achieve ambitious goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive Philanthropic Revenue Growth
  • Build, manage, cultivate, and solicit a portfolio of 100+ investors and prospects capable of giving $10,000+.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed annual fundraising goals.
Donor Cultivation & Leadership Engagement
  • Steward and deepen relationships with existing investors while identifying and cultivating new major gift prospects.
  • Expand the donor pipeline with individuals capable of making five-, six-, and seven-figure commitments.
  • Lead the execution of philanthropic events to cultivate new prospects and steward existing investors.
  • Identify and recruit local lay leaders to support Birthright Israel's mission.
Brand & Mission Ambassador
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for Birthright Israel both professionally and personally.
  • Represent Birthright Israel Foundation with professionalism, passion, and credibility.
