This facility operates as part of a large health system, providing specialized rheumatology services in an outpatient clinic setting. The clinic maintains structured support systems, including an APP, to facilitate quality care delivery for adult patients. Clinicians benefit from established workflows and resources consistent with a large health system environment.

North Carolina offers a range of natural and historical attractions suited to a variety of interests. Coastal destinations include the North Carolina Aquarium, Sandy Run Park's 1,600 acres of marshland and maritime forest, and the Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area, a 265-acre nature preserve in Pine Knoll Shores. Visitors may also explore the Outer Banks Scenic Byway, Elizabethan Gardens, the Outer Banks History Center, Roanoke Island's living history museum, and Ocracoke Island's lighthouse - the second oldest operational lighthouse in the United States - alongside outdoor pursuits such as dolphin watch cruises, kayak tours, and whitewater rafting. The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, the oldest museum in the state, further complements the region's cultural and recreational offerings.

The rheumatologist will provide outpatient rheumatology care for adult patients in a clinic setting, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinician will manage an average of 12 patients per day, with no call coverage required. Documentation is conducted using the Epic EMR system. Board certification in Rheumatology is required for this locum tenens assignment.
