Summary

Perform ISD training assessments applicable to the KC-46 MTS. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all released ISD material for proposal and program execution purposes. Supports the development of proposal processes and deliverables, including solution development for Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and courseware as well as associated proposal narratives with Subject Matter Expert (SME) input. Supports the design and development of ISD deliverables, including Task Lists, Objective Hierarchies, and syllabi. Supports the development of corresponding course materials, to include graphics and media support with SME input to ensure intended learning outcomes are achieved. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with prospective and current customers. Ensure ISD department adheres to applicable proposal, contract, and ISD processes in accordance with customer requirements for ISD deliverables.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and reviews proposal and program course materials with input from SMEs including but not limited to: selection of appropriate instructional methods, development of instructionally sound course objectives, design and development of realistic scenarios and case studies, and design and development of valid assessment tools
  • Works with ISD tools and licenses to meet current and projected program requirements
  • Attends ISD-related customer interface and internal meetings and generate any necessary materials or slides for required presentations
  • Ensure traceability is maintained on all baseline and updated ISD documentation on ISD departmental processes, procedures, and work instructions in accordance with established Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Consults with customers on performance management and instructional strategies
  • Interfaces with project manager to confirm instructional methods and sequences are being followed
  • Works continual improvement in department by designing and improving learning tools and processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Instructional System Design or Adult Education/Learning
  • Five (5) years of military related experience providing Instructional System Design services, or similar higher education instructional system design environment
  • KC-46 or modern military aircraft maintenance training related experience providing Instructional Design Services as Defined herein.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications, including developing macros and applying formulae for Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to prioritize work requirements with minimal supervision
  • Results-oriented approach to performing work
  • Strong organizational skills and business acumen
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity while remaining customer focused
  • Ability to perform data analysis on raw unstructured data

Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.
