Job Title: Project Manager

Classification: Exempt

Project Manager:

The project manager is the first point of contact for any project issues or discrepancies arising from within the various departments in an organization before the problem escalates to higher authorities. They will monitor the details and status of projects, drive regular governance meetings, promote communication, and the goals of the program. This individual seldom participates directly in the activities that produce the result but drives the process of maintaining the progress, mutual interaction, and tasks of various parties in such a way that reduces the risk of overall failure maximizes benefits and minimizes costs.

Reporting Relationship:

  • Reports to Department Director


Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear expectations for the intended results of projects.
  • Delegating work effectively
  • Responsible for communication with the customer
  • Manage sub-contractors
  • Managing the resource of time, schedule development, and control
  • Managing the deployment deliverables. On-time and within budget. (Who is doing what)
  • Identify and resolve product issues, effectively escalate decisions and issues, and establish quality measures and standards that ensure milestones are met, and projects are successfully executed.
  • Schedule and plan final walkthroughs
  • Responsible for change orders
  • Project signoffs
  • Project billing and reconciliation
  • Provide day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership to department staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance and make recommendations for personnel actions.
  • Maintain monthly job costing reports (reports shall be generated from TigerPaw or supplied by the manager)
  • Provide up-to-date expense reports at the culmination of every week.
  • Consistently update Outlook Calendar to provide accurate availability.
  • Adjusting hours of work, priorities, and staff assignments to ensure efficient operation, based on workload.
  • Assist in customer transition to Service Department.

Performance Measurements:

  • Improve communication and collaboration.
  • Improve productivity and performance.
  • Achieve project objectives within the given constraints.
  • Stay proactive to mitigate risks in advance.
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Achievement of personal and departmental training plan
  • Ability to produce current dashboards and resource forecasts upon demand.
  • Service Order gross margin attainment at, or above established order and/or budgetary targets
  • Minimum customer satisfaction rating to be determined.
  • Adherence to Timesheet and expense report policies
  • Adherence to invoice forecasts i.e., billing forecast and billing dates
  • Provide leadership and direction for the delivery of project objectives.
