Job description

Project Manager - Omni Metalcraft (Integrator Division) Northern Michigan
Omni Metalcraft has been building quality material handling solutions since 1976 - and we're growing. We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Integrator Division and lead projects for some of the most well-known companies in North America.
Being a PM at Omni is not a "manage the spreadsheet and send status updates" kind of role. You'd be the person making sure complex projects actually land, on time, in scope, and without drama.
What You'll Own
  • Partnering with Sales to develop proposals and scope out resources from the start
  • Leading multiple projects simultaneously, kick-offs, design reviews, milestone tracking, the whole thing
  • Managing vendor relationships to keep critical components on schedule
  • Acting as the primary contact for customers, handling change orders and keeping them informed without the runaround
  • Identifying risks early and solving problems before they escalate

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years in project management or a similar role involving vendor management, customer relationships, or team leadership
  • New to formal project management? If you've led work, managed people, or kept complex things organized, we want to hear from you
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings
  • Strong communicator, self-starter, and someone who actually follows through

Compensation & Benefits
  • Employer-sponsored health insurance + HSA
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Flexible PTO and paid holidays
  • Discretionary bonuses
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Paid and on-the-job training plus professional development opportunities

Work Environment
Primarily in-office (95%) with occasional customer site visits and travel to our Alpena, MI facility (5%).
Omni is the kind of place where your work is visible, your growth is supported, and the people around you actually care about doing things right. If that sounds like your kind of environment, we'd love to meet you.
