What You'll Do

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you'll support projects from initial exploration through construction while working alongside experienced engineers, geologists, project managers, and clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform geotechnical engineering investigations and evaluations.
  • Assist with project planning, proposals, scope development, and scheduling.
  • Analyze subsurface conditions and develop engineering recommendations.
  • Prepare geotechnical reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate drilling, laboratory testing, and field investigations.
  • Perform construction observations, quality assurance, and quality control activities.
  • Support foundation, earthwork, pavement, and retaining wall recommendations.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Assist with project budgeting and tracking.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2–3 years of geotechnical engineering experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver's license


Preferred Qualifications

  • Geotechnical engineering emphasis
  • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
