Job Title: Lead Java Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: Full-Time
NEED IRS MBI Clearance.

Description:
The Lead in software development serves as a technical authority in application development, leading the design and delivery of innovative software solutions. This role focuses on leveraging deep technical expertise to solve complex challenges and deliver high quality applications.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design, coding testing, and deployment of enterprise level applications.
- Develop APIs, integrations, and front/backend services for robust software solutions.
- Provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and development framework.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Act as the go-to-expert for application performance optimization.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to understand business needs and technical requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
- Stay updates on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Skill Requirements:
15+ years in software development, including roles as a technical lead for Java application delivery and integration.
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, familiarity with Pega workflows, Salesforce, MuleSoft.
- Deep knowledge of application development frameworks as required by the government.
- Expertise in Java as well as be highly proficient in J2EE, Objected Oriented Programming Concepts and Patterns, XML, REST, Spring Boot/microservices, workflow architecture, and container-based technologies (e.g. OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
- Hands on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership ability.
