Job description

RSC Landscaping, a leading company in Sussex County, is renowned for its expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for both commercial and residential properties. We are currently seeking a dedicated Irrigation Crew Member to join our team. Working closely with our Irrigation Manager, Crew Leader, Service Technicians, and Designers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all aspects of our irrigation projects are executed to the highest company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of irrigation equipment, including pumps, valves, sprinklers, pipes, and other related tools.
  • Calculate watering requirements and ensure proper hydration of lawns, trees, and plants using irrigation systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of sites for irrigation projects and participate in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various irrigation components.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the project area by collecting and discarding litter or other waste materials after project completion.
  • Adhere to company standards, requirements, and safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of irrigation parts, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently, thoroughly, and follow directions.
  • Thorough understanding of how to properly hydrate various types of lawns, greenery, and plants.
  • Experience operating various types of power equipment and hand tools required for irrigation.
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 40 pounds.
