Position Summary:
This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties that manages and checks irrigation systems by managing all the controller and chain functions of the control. Responsible for testing and repairing irrigation system and performing the operation, installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.
Salary: $26-38 depending on education and experience.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
  • Locates, excavates, and repairs or replaces damaged or malfunctioning equipment
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and monitor all aspects of residential irrigation systems, including valve and manifold repair and rebuilding
  • Install and maintain new residential systems
  • Improve irrigation systems by accurately and timely completing work order repairs
  • Test soil and vegetation to determine irrigation needs
  • Map out areas for irrigation installation
  • Dig trenches and install pipes and lines
  • Install pumps and electrical timers
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks
  • Tests complete irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers
  • Establish and maintain client relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Participates with all Snow Removal events
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

5+ years of residential irrigation assembly, troubleshooting & repair experience required.
