Greenstar Landscaping & Irrigation Co. is looking to hire an Irrigation Specialist. We are looking for a career-minded and highly motivated individual with a clean driver's license who is looking for a full-time position in the irrigation industry. We offer competitive, weekly pay, PTO, direct deposit, Simple IRA and sign-on bonuses. Annual salary between $50K-$60K.

Irrigation Specialist Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year experience as an irrigation foreman.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an irrigation technician.
  • Physically fit to perform the demanding work of the outdoor irrigation trade.
  • Must be able to speak and interact with our clients and employees professionally.
  • Experienced in the inner workings of an irrigation system, such as pumps, timers, valves, sprinkler heads, and all other accompanying components.


Irrigation Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems in the irrigation field.
  • Perform thorough wet checks of the irrigation system to ensure the working condition and coverage of all zones and sprinkler heads.
  • Install and maintain clocks, timers, and rain sensors.
  • Tracking electrical components/troubleshooting.
  • Install irrigation pumps, check valves, wellhead and screen.
  • Install zone valves, electrical valves, and manifolds.
  • Proficient and knowledgeable in the inner workings of all PVC pipe fittings in the installation of sprinkler heads, pop up, and rotors.
  • Inspect all controllers and adjust settings as needed according to the water requirements of each zone.
  • Supervise others performing irrigation projects and installations and manage all projects most efficiently.
