Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, piping, and sprinklers.
  • Perform seasonal services such as system start-ups, shut-downs, and winterization.
  • Conduct system audits and recommend upgrades or adjustments to improve water efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
  • Provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades based on client needs and site conditions.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for clients and supervisors.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in training team members on safe practices and proper equipment use.

  • Support inventory management for irrigation parts and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Foreman and other departments to streamline operations.

Qualifications
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including controllers, backflow devices, and water-efficient technology.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and irrigation schematics.
  • Backflow prevention device certification (preferred but not required).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including irrigation software and mobile apps.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
