Job description

We are looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our landscape design build team as a plumber. This position requires at least five years of experience, a driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Some of the primary responsibilities include:

  • Designing, scoping and installing landscape irrigation systems.
  • Residential and light commercial system maintenance.
  • Working with the team of Merrifield designers to collaborate on irrigation systems and sell the ideas to clients.
  • Installation of gas piping and gas fittings for outdoor fire features.
  • Meeting prospective clients at their homes to discuss plans and verbally sharing initial concepts during the walk through.

Formulating a design for the client based on the initial meeting.Coordinating with other team members and suppliers to determine project details and scope.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • At least five years of experience as a plumber
  • Experience installing PVC, copper, PEX and other piping materials
  • Knowledge of gas fitting
  • A driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Friendly, respectful, professional attitude
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand or be physically active for hours at a time
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
