Reinforcing Ironworker / Rodbuster

The Opportunity

We are hiring experienced reinforcing ironworkers/rodbusters to join our bridge and highway crews on major infrastructure projects. If you know rebar, aren't afraid of hard work, and want to be part of a solid team building structures that last, this is a strong next step in your career.

In this role, you will work on high-impact transportation projects, build your skills, and have opportunities to grow with a company that invests in training and advancement.


What You'll Do
  • Tie and place reinforcing steel (rebar) on major bridge and highway projects with accuracy and speed
  • Install rebar in footings, columns, decks, barriers, walls, and other structural components
  • Read and follow drawings and placement plans to ensure correct spacing, lap, and bar placement
  • Work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions while maintaining productivity
  • Coordinate with your foreman and crew to keep work areas organized, on schedule, and compliant with safety standards
What Success Looks Like
  • Within the first few months, consistently complete assigned rebar placements on time while meeting quality and safety expectations
  • Accurately read and interpret basic rebar drawings with minimal direction from your foreman
  • Earn the trust of your crew by showing up on time, working hard, and communicating clearly
  • Demonstrate steady improvement in speed, efficiency, and use of tools and systems, positioning yourself for more responsibility and higher pay
What We're Looking For
  • Proven rebar/rodbusting experience on commercial, industrial, bridge, or highway projects
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in tough outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and heights
  • Reliable transportation and a strong, team-first work ethic
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures, learn new methods and technologies, and take pride in your craft
Compensation and Benefits
  • $23.00 - $31.50 per hour, based on experience, with higher pay available for NCCER-certified ironworkers
  • Health benefits after 90 days of employment
