Job Title: Mig Welder

Job Description

Join our team as a Mig Welder specializing in welding on mild steel from 12g to 1 inch in flat, vertical down, and overhead positions. This role requires expertise in both tank and pressure vessel welding, with the capability to set up equipment and execute tasks independently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding on mild steel in various positions.
  • Familiarize with tank and pressure vessel welding.
  • Set up welding equipment and job independently.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and build frames.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, tape measure, and other measuring tools.
  • Grind and polish welds to perfection.
  • Operate Miller welders proficiently.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of MIG welding experience on mild steel.
  • Proficient in fabrication, tape measure, MIG welding, and blueprint reading.
  • Experienced in welding with flux core and structural steel.
  • Skilled in fitting and assembly processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.
