People Source is seeking experienced Ironworkers to join our team on a large-scale data center construction project in Midlothian, TX. This position is ideal for skilled ironworkers located throughout the DFW Metroplex who have a strong background in commercial or industrial construction and are looking for long-term project opportunities.

What you will do

  • Erect and install structural steel, columns, beams, joists, decking, stairs, handrails, and miscellaneous metals.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and layout plans.
  • Perform bolt-up activities and align structural steel components.
  • Rig, signal, and assist crane operators during steel erection activities.
  • Install safety cable, guardrails, and fall protection systems.
  • Assist with plumbing and aligning steel structures.
  • Work safely at heights while adhering to all project safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What you should bring

  • Minimum 6 years of Ironworker experience.
  • Previous experience on new construction projects
  • Data center construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of rigging practices and crane signaling.
  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • Ability to work from aerial lifts and at elevated heights.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
  • Climb ladders, work from lifts, and perform duties at elevated heights.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
