Job Summary:

Responsible for safely operating saw and other equipment to process, package and load material.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate saw, or other equipment to process, package, and load.
  • Operate forklift, Raymond side loader, and overhead crane to move material in the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks using handling equipment, place materials in storage locations.
  • May receive/inspect and verify the material count.

Position Requirements:

  • Good mechanical aptitude – manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the use of standard shop tools and inspection measuring tools, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, side loaders, saws, banding, and/or order packing are highly preferred, but not required.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints/ shop drawings is a plus.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout work schedule, 6-8 hours per day.
  • Ability to regularly maneuver up to 50 pounds
