Job description

📍 Location: Near Carlsbad, NM | Halfway Landfill Facility

💰 Pay Range: $87,000 - $102,000 ($24-$28+/hr., based on experience + overtime)

📅 Schedule: Monday - Friday, with occasional weekends | 55-60 hour weeks | Day Shift

R360 Environmental Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is the nation's leading environmental oilfield waste management provider. R360 has the resources to offer superior reliability and results to customers across the country.

We are currently looking to add a Heavy Equipment PM Mechanic to our team at the Halfway Landfill Facility near Carlsbad, NM. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably on Heavy Equipment/Yellow Iron. This is a Day Shift position, Monday through Friday, with occasional Weekends. We offer family benefits, 401(k), vacation, and year-round steady work. For out-of-town applicants, we do offer man camp accommodations.

🔧 The Job:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Diesel Trucks and Heavy Equipment/Yellow Iron.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.

Use onboard computer systems to identify and resolve vehicle issues.

Complete work orders and documentation using our fleet maintenance software.

Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site service calls.

Ensure a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment.

Requirements:

1+ years of hands-on Mechanic experience

Must have your own tools

Basic computer skills for Diagnostics and Documentation

Commitment to safety practices and PPE usage
