Job Description

Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 4 days onsite/week)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Front Office Trade Support to provide production and application support for a suite of critical Fixed Income trading applications. This role is highly visible within the Front Office, requiring close interaction with traders, development teams, and technology support to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of trading systems. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be comfortable supporting business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the health and availability of Front Office trading applications, ensuring services are running efficiently and resolving issues promptly
  • Provide day-to-day support to traders, responding to application-related questions and troubleshooting production issues
  • Perform application releases and deployments in coordination with development teams
  • Investigate, diagnose, and escalate production incidents as needed to minimize business impact
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure system stability and continuous improvement
  • Maintain operational procedures and support documentation
  • Collaborate with development and global support teams across New York, Montreal, London, and Paris.

  • Zeus – Bond pricing platform used by Fixed Income traders
  • Pegasus – Reporting platform supporting Front Office activities
  • Bond RFQ – Electronic Request-for-Quote platform enabling traders to respond to client RFQs received through Bloomberg (BBG), MarketAxess, Trumid, and Tradeweb
  • Iris – Pricing platform for CDS and CDX products
  • Tradebox – Captures executed market orders and routes them to the booking platform, Xone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Bash scripting
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of Fixed Income products and trading workflows

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in application support, production support, or a similar role.
  • Previous exposure to a Front Office or financial markets environment.
  • Experience supporting traders, sales teams, or business users.
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux and SQL.
  • Bash or shell scripting knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products, including bonds, CDS, and CDX, is preferred.
  • Understanding of pricing, risk calculations, or electronic trading workflows is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and remain effective under pressure.
  • Autonomous, client-focused, proactive, and team-oriented.
