Position Description
Title: Human Resources Intern
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: Senior Human Resources Manager
Status: Non-Exempt Hourly (Part-time)
Position Purpose: The Human Resources Intern will support a variety of HR functions with a focus on employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and employee experience. This role provides hands-on exposure to core HR processes while contributing to a positive and compliant workplace environment
Principle Accountabilities
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions
  • Update employee records in Dayforce, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor regulations
  • Assist with maintaining personnel files and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements
  • Coordinate and assist with employee engagement activities and internal events
  • Generate HR reports and assist with data analysis
  • Contribute to process improvement projects to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Related tasks as requested by manager

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Strong interest in HR operations, employee relations, and compliance
  • Must display discretion to sensitive data
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail with ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Prior administrative or internship experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems preferred
