A day on the job as an Operator:

As an Operator, you are at the forefront of innovation in assembling cutting-edge cellular booster technology! You will be responsible for following assembly procedures in accordance with specifications and by using hand and power tools and test equipment. This will involve tasks such as removing small quantities of metal to clean parts or achieve a precise fit between components. You will also be required to drill, tap, or ream holes as necessary.

Furthermore, your role will involve aligning various components and securing them together using bolts, screws, or rivets. You will set up, assemble, repair, test, and package final and sub-assemblies.

It will be crucial for you to maintain the required work quality and output at all workstations and assembly lines while adhering to established requirements. You will also operate test equipment to ensure that the product meets all necessary specifications, and promptly document and report any discrepancies. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and reporting inventory accuracy.

In addition to your primary tasks, it may be required for you to perform housekeeping and organization duties in the department and work area. This could include sweeping the area, disposing of trash, and performing minor maintenance on certain pieces of equipment. Additional duties may be assigned, or your responsibilities may change over time.

Work schedule:

These positions are full-time, Monday through Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Seasonal SMT Operator position is seasonal for a period of up to 6 months, and employment may be eliminated during that time. There is a possibility that the position may become permanent depending on the company's needs and job performance.

This job may be for you if you can:

  • Sit or stand for up to 12 hours a day
  • Walk distances across our production area
  • Perform frequent, repetitive elbow movements
  • Reach, grasp, grip, and provide fine manipulation with hands
  • Work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines
  • IPC Certification - Soldering experience is a plus, but not required
