Job description

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates should have law firm experience handling intellectual property litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery, and working with experts. Experience litigating matters in federal court is strongly preferred. Registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is desirable, as is some familiarity with patent prosecution, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Experience with a variety of technical areas, including mechanical, electromechanical, software, and/or electrical inventions, is preferred. The work may also include advising clients on clearance, validity, infringement, and enforcement of patent and other intellectual property rights. Candidates must demonstrate excellent written and oral advocacy skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Admission to the State Bar or the ability to immediately waive in is required.
