What You''ll Do
Architect & Build Scalable Cloud Solutions

• Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable microservices using Java Spring Boot within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs that power mission-critical applications.
• Create cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure services, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing.
• Drive architectural decisions that support multi-tenant SaaS platforms and high-availability systems.

Deliver Exceptional User Experiences

• Develop modern, responsive, and high-performing web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Create intuitive, accessible, and engaging user interfaces that delight customers.
• Integrate frontend applications seamlessly with backend services and APIs.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization experiences, including SSO and token-based access controls.

Innovate in the Cloud & IoT Space

• Contribute to the evolution of our connected product and IoT ecosystem.
• Design event-driven workflows using Azure messaging technologies such as Event Grid and Service Bus.
• Optimize platform scalability, reliability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to turn ideas into impactful solutions.

What Makes You a Great Fit
Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven expertise building enterprise-grade backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience designing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated success developing modern frontend applications using Next.js and React.
• Experience architecting distributed, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions.

Technical Expertise
Backend Engineering (Java + Azure)
You bring deep expertise in:

• Java, Spring Boot, and modern backend architecture principles
• RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
• Azure Functions, App Services, API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, and Logic Apps
• Azure AD B2C, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and identity management
• Event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Event Grid and Service Bus
• Relational and NoSQL databases, including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• CI/CD automation with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.

Frontend Development (Next.js)
You are skilled at:

• Building scalable applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Creating responsive, accessible, and performance-focused user experiences
• Integrating frontend applications with cloud-hosted backend services
• Implementing secure authentication and authorization workflows

Cloud & Platform Expertise
You''ll have experience with:

• Azure compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and security services
• Cloud-native application design patterns and best practices
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform
• Cost optimization, performance tuning, and operational excellence in Azure environments

Security & Compliance
You understand how to build secure, enterprise-ready applications by:

• Applying Azure security best practices and IAM principles
• Designing secure authentication and authorization models
• Following secure coding practices and compliance requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA

Performance & Reliability
You excel at:

• Monitoring and optimizing application performance across cloud environments
• Troubleshooting complex distributed systems
• Delivering highly available, resilient, and scalable solutions
• Identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks before they impact users

Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following will help you stand out:
Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
• Oracle Certified Professional (Java) or equivalent certifications

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure IoT services such as IoT Hub, Device Provisioning Service, and Time Series Insights
• Exposure to SaaS billing, subscription management, and tenant lifecycle management
• Familiarity with UI/UX collaboration platforms such as Figma and Sketch
• Experience delivering secure authentication and authorization frameworks for enterprise applications

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*:  $85.00 - $90.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
